The other day when I posted about the Positive and Pretty palette, I was not kidding about the wonderful offerings Stila now has. The Happily Ever After Palette is a great gift idea for the Stila fan in your life. That is likely yourself (Smile) or a good friend. Retailing for $75.00 and available on www.stilacosmetics.com, the palette comes with six eyeshadows, two lipsticks, one blush and one bronzer and a smudge stick waterproof eye liner. The shadows are: Bliss (matte cream), Veil (shimmery dark taupe), Twinkle (matte dark reddish brown), Kitten (the ubiquitous shimmery champagne), Beauty (matte dark cream brown) and Forever (shimmery pinkish brown). The lipsticks are The Kiss (creamy yellow pink) and Love (creamy pink). The Blush is Flush (a beautiful pale pink flush) and the Bronzer is Bronze (light, pale bronzer powder). The Smudge Stick is Lion Fish, a gorgeous shimmery bronze. The whole kit comes in a velvet pouch.

For this look I chose to use Veil in the crease with Twinkle on the outer edge of the lid, defining the crease and under the eye. I used Kitten on the lid to brighten it up and then Bliss under the brow to blend out Veil. I lined the upper lid with Lionfish and used Covergirl Lash Perfection Mascara in brown. On my cheeks I used Bronze under the cheekbone to create more of a contour with the Flush color on top of it. That made the cheekbones kind of pop! On my lips I used The Kiss lip color, which is more of a cross between a lipgloss and lipstick than just a lipstick.

Overall, I like the colors that the Happily Ever After palette offers. They are nice for the nude looks, so nothing really over the top. This means the palette is great for travel. I would take it everywhere I go! I give it 4 1/2 out of 5 stars mainly because of the price. I think most people will find it a little too expensive. But the shadows, lipcolors and blushes are of great quality and are well worth the money.
