MAC HOLIDAY: DAZZLESPHERE

    100_8668100_8667
Okay, I think when I wrote that last bit on the MAC Holiday items it would be the end of it. I was wrong, so wrong…I was waiting for this last little bit of magic to get here. The MAC Dazzlesphere (www.maccosmetics.com, $32.50 each) ornaments are so nice. I went a little overboard but it was SO worth it!!!!

For this look I am wearing the Spicy Smoke/Roasted Chestnut (Berry Ornament) and Misty/Seasonal Cool (Plum Ornament). I used Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue as it works best for holding down pigments and crushed metals. I applied Spicy Smoke in the crease, Roasted Chestnut lower in the crease and on the outer edge of the lid and under the eye. On the lid I used Misty and Seasonal Cool under the Brow. For mascara I used MAC’s Opulash in Black and Urban Decay’s 24/7 Liquid Liner ($18.00) in Demolition (matte dark brown) to line the upper lid. The cheeks were highlighted with Snowglobe from Glitter and Ice (discussed in this blog entry: http://iamthemakeupjunkie.blogspot.com/2011/10/mac-holiday-glitter-and-ice-and-ice.html). The lids are glimmering with Boy Bait Cremesheen lipglass from the Neutral Dazzlesphere Ornament.

Now, let’s talk ornaments. The crushed metals and lipglosses come in these clunky ornaments that are huge and I really don’t know what to do with, except chuck them into the garbage. I hate to do that too. Maybe someone can give me an idea for them. I am hoping to put them around the house at Christmas and fill them with something. Any ideas?
I am extremely happy with the crushed metals and lipglasses! There are three crushed metal pigment ornaments (Smoky Blue, Plum and Berry) and three dazzleglass/lipglass ornaments (Neutral, Coral and Pink). Each crushed metal pigment ornament comes with four pigments. I must say that all of them are gorgeous and they seem to wear really well over the Glitter Glue ($18.00, www.toofaced.com). The lipglass ornaments come with two Dazzleglass and two Cremesheen lipglass.
